SEA CLOUD CRUISES, a premiere address in the world of luxury cruising since 1979, operates luxurious and refined cruises on their two traditionally rigged sailing ships and two European riverboats. Their specialists’ headquarters are located in the heart of Hamburg, a city of waterways and lakes, meaning lots of opportunity to go sailing and canoeing.

The company acquired the famed sailing ship Sea Cloud and began an extensive restoration to return the vessel to her original glory. This four-masted, 30-sail barkentine was built in the 1930’s and has sumptuous fittings with interiors panelled in carved oak, fitted with Italian marble and elegantly furnished with antiques. The larger, three-masted Sea Cloud II is a modern reinterpretation of the classics, built in 2001. Her elegant lounge has rich mahogany woodwork, ornate ceiling moldings, leather club couches, and overstuffed bucket chairs, and she has several opulent suites, one with burled wood paneling and a canopy bed. By 2001, the company was finally able to fulfill one of its longstanding goals by introducing a second traditionally rigged sailing ship, named as River Cloud II, with a slightly higher passenger capacity.

On board the ships of Sea Cloud Cruises you will enjoy the ultimate in personalized travel. Hamburg headquarters and our U.S. office always try to offer a perfect tour creating a private atmosphere on board. There is a Lido Bar, a great place to just sit and people watch with a nice cold glass of Guarana (or a beer), on the sunny Promenade Deck. The stylish restaurant in the old salon. Their experienced executives and specialists are capable and happy to handle all of your cruise needs. Some of the executives have decades of cruise and travel experience.
