Land Sea Marina Services

In 1994 ‘Land Sea Services’ was established. This Golfito business is owned by Tim Leachman Katie Duncan. They don’t provide anything approaching agent services. This services is an secure and economical choice for sailors in transit or for the people who want to travel inland. The Land Sea service office offers phone, fax, souvenirs, travel agency and a 2 furnished guest rentals at the waterfront.

Marina:

You will get the beautiful Marina called Land and Sea. Tim and Katie made this place have made this marina so comfortable that you will feel a homely environment. This boat has a gigantic shower that dispenses cold but invigorating showers at the touch of a dial, laundry facilities, dinghy dock,$1 per day WiFi internet access, book exchange, the TV with cable and all the equipments or staying happily and comfortably. They have an on-your-honor system for the bar.There is a refrigerator kept for you. This refrigerator stocked with tea, juice, bear and soda. If you grab yourself any drink you only have to put a tick-mark on the chalkboard provided there and you will need to pay your bill at the end of your visit.  You will never get a dull moment while staying on Marina. There you will meet some pets (4 dogs, 6 cats and local turtle) and with these you will have a nice time. 

The Crews:

Tim Leachman is one of the owner of Land Sea Marina Services who has been sailing yachts and operating commercial vessels for over 38 years. He arrived in Costa Rica with his mate in 1993 and he has become so fond of the area that he made his mind to put the anchor down indefinitely and established Land Sea Services. Tim made not only coast to coast passages including more than a dozen canal transits but also completed deliveries to Mexico, Tonga, Tahiti, United States and South and Central American ports too. Tim is good resource on cruising and available for Yacht Maintenance Contracts for foreign flagged vessels.

Katie Duncn is the co-founder of Land Sea who will make sure that you can have everything you need. You can use phone cards, fax services. If you go for a tip of two months or more Katie will handle pre-arrival arrangements.

Aleda is the newest associate  who is available for special cleaning projects and services to absentee owners. She keeps the laundry services, cold box stocked and free coffee flowing.
